I read about The Soils, Food and Healthy Communities organization in this month's National Geographic - and it struck me as one of the few really effective and healthy strategies for agricultural development in Africa. The more I learn about permaculture, the more I feel like we all need to research and adopt these techniques as much as possible and as soon as possible. It simply makes sense that nature would, after billions of years of evolution, know just a little about what works best on planet Earth, you know?
